Harvest & Vineyard:
The 2013 vintage has been characterized as :early, even, and excellent," with above-average yields. It holds exceptional promise-a worthy successor to the also highly regarded 2012 vintage.
Perched above the town of Glen Ellen in Sonoma County, this vineyard is exclusively dedicated to Chardonnay. Though its yields a small crop, the clusters are concentrated with flavor. Warm days allow grapes to achive opitmal ripeness, and the limestone soil brings brightness and minerality.
This pairs beauitfully with a wide range of cheeses, from triple-cream to farmstead cheddar. It's also delicious with savory tarts and salads. For a main course, consider ceviche or grilled fish topped with tropicial fruit salsa.
